How To Install
A complete set of fitting instructions and a template are included with every panel. As with any electrical appliance, the fitting of the heating panels must be carried out by a fully qualified electrician. The heating panel is supplied with 2 safety, fixing brackets, with the exception of the larger panels which are supplied with 4 safety, fixing brackets. The instructions below are for initial guidance only, please follow complete installation instructions supplied with panel.
- Using the template, mark on the wall where the brackets are to be fitted.
- Fit brackets and safety washers to wall.
- Fit heat resistant electrical socket to wall.
- Attach panel power cord to heat resistant socket outlet. Do not cut power cord.
- Raise panels and attach to fixed brackets. Please note that where 2 brackets are used there are 2 spacers fitted to the panel to ensure correct spacing from the wall. The panels must not be tilted when fitting to the brackets.
- Gently tighten the screw nuts. Do not over tighten.
The panels can also be fitted to a mains socket by attaching a plug to the panel power cord.We recommend that in order for the heating panel to be used most efficiently and cost effectively a room thermostat should be used.
To assist in setting up for the fitting of the panels, we are happy to send out a template and fitting instructions on receipt of your order.
